Can I play solo?

Yes, it will be possible to complete the story campaign without going to PvP zones and complete isolated missions without other players.

What will the in-game communication be like?

The game will feature voice and text chat. Global, divided by region, party or clan.

Will there be in-game purchases?

Only cosmetic in-game purchases are planned, the items are designed in the style of the game. We believe that this is the most balanced approach.

The game is planned to be released for PC first and a version for next-gen consoles will be released later.

Will there be armor and outfits in the game?

The game will feature unique types of armor and outfits with significant visual differences, and various characteristics and features.

Can the story be completed solo/co-op?

Some quests can be completed in co-op, but not the entire storyline.

Will there be custom servers?

There is no need for this, as you can make a guild which allows you to create a similar enclave on existing servers, thanks to the server mirroring system.

Will it be cross-platform?

Yes, but without cross-play for the sake of balance between players. That means console players will not be able to play against PC players.

How will the content be updated?

We plan to release regular updates, including both balancing patches and new content. Besides, players will get major additions that will open up new horizons and significantly expand the game world.

Will the game be available on Linux?

Yes, the game will be available on Windows and Linux.

Will there be an anti-cheat?

Yes, we are working on its integration and will share details later. Protection against cheaters is a very important, high-priority aspect for us.

What engine is the game based on?

The game runs on Unreal Engine 4, we do not plan to switch to UE5 before the release of the game, as UE5 is very demanding on the hardware. We want as many players as possible to enjoy a quality product.

Will the game have a sequel after the story is over?

We are actively working to keep the community interested in the game world. In the future, there will be endgame content and story development.

Will there be an affiliate program?

Yes, it is planned, and we will share more details later. We value content creators and will definitely reward community members for it.

Will the bestiary and arsenal on the site be expanded?

Yes, we will publish new characters and weapons and continue to expand the base on the site. We want players to be able to familiarize themselves with the world of the game and get to know its components in more detail while immersing in the island of Tartarus.

How many people work on PIONER?

At the moment, we have over 100 professionals from all over the world working on PIONER.

Is it necessary to participate in PvP to complete the main story?

No, players don't necessarily need to participate in PvP. Story-based activities and activities in which you can get beaten up by other players are separated by both distance and organization.

How does world division work?

The left side of the island is dominated by PvE content. The right side of the island is a PvP area. At the same time, there is only one region in the game where PvP is implemented everywhere - Shadowlands. Only partial areas with PvP rules are implemented in Middle Earth. We are also introducing additional rules to avoid bullying of solo players and to avoid campering.

How does equipment progression work?

Getting the best equipment is possible in PvE and PvP activities. The main item you need to have is blueprints and resources. The latter can be obtained in a large number of activities, including PvE.

How will the artefacts work?

In the world of PIONER, artefacts play a vital role in the economy and the equipment crafting process. Artefacts are expensive and difficult to obtain. The search for artefacts is almost always connected with anomalies, and you can only get an artefact if you have the appropriate equipment.
